Daily Puzzle History

Missed a day? Curious what last Tuesday's puzzle was? The daily puzzle history lets you browse and replay past daily puzzles.

Browsing Past Puzzles

The daily puzzle history is available from the Daily Puzzle section of the home screen. Tap "View History" to see a chronological list of past daily puzzles, including:

  • The date each puzzle was available

  • Whether you completed it

  • Your solve time (if completed)

  • Whether it was a single or double acrostic

  • Any holiday theme associated with that date

The list scrolls back to the first daily puzzle Lamplit ever published.

Replaying a Past Puzzle

You can tap any past daily puzzle to open and play it, even if you missed it on the original date. The puzzle plays exactly as it would have on its original day.

Streak Credit

Past daily puzzles do not count toward your current streak. Streaks are earned by completing the daily puzzle on the day it's published. Replaying an older puzzle is for fun and practice — it won't retroactively fill a gap in your streak.

If you need streak protection for a missed day, see Streaks & Streak Shields.

Common Questions

Can I replay a puzzle I already completed? Yes. Your original completion and solve time are preserved. Replaying won't overwrite your stats.

How far back does the history go? All the way to launch. Every daily puzzle ever published is available.

Do past puzzles count toward Classic Mode unlock? Yes. Completing any puzzle — including a replayed daily — counts toward the 25-puzzle threshold for Classic Mode.
