What We Collect
Crash and performance diagnostics
Lamplit uses Apple's MetricKit framework to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data (hang rates, launch times, memory usage). These diagnostics are forwarded to our monitoring service (Axiom) so we can identify and fix bugs.
This data includes:
Crash stack traces
Performance metrics (launch duration, hang duration)
Device model and iOS version
App version
This data does not include:
Your name, email, or Apple ID
Your puzzle answers or progress
Your location
Any identifier that could be used to identify you personally
Daily puzzle selection events
We log which puzzle ID is served each day for operational visibility — this helps us verify that the daily schedule is working correctly. No user-specific information is attached to these events.
What We Don't Collect
No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel)
No user accounts or registration
No email addresses (unless you contact us directly for support)
No location data
No contacts, photos, or other device data
